First Class

It's been awhile since I did any digital art, and I didn't want to get out of practice. Harry Potter is my fall back plan for art stuffs, so here we are!

I've been wanting to do a realistic lightening scar on him for a very very long time, as well as a sort-of cover shoot image of him in Order of Merlin regalia. I just imagined there'd be some sort of uniform for accepting the award, if only to keep 17 year-old punks from showing up in jeans...

And no, I don't picture his scar like that. I just wondered what it would look like. I was going to do this whole dramatic thing where it went down his face, but changed my mind. Incidentally, I've observed in 4 years of working as a face painter that about 1 in 3 American children have scars on their foreheads. It's incredible. What are kids doing??

Edit: I fixed his eyes! There were looking flat and creepy from over-detailing. I think this looks more natural.
